Now if we compare both the jobs, then both are prestigious jobs in Govt. providing you incentives, money. Now, it depends on you what you want in your life. If you want to gain some power of administration in your hand and also want money, then surely you must go for SSC-CGL because in PO job you are not given any power related to administration. And if you want to earn much money in your life then surely go for bank PO job. Now, here I am describing some points where you can get some idea why I would say that SSC-CGL jobs are much better than Bank PO jobs.

For job too, in private sector there is no specific weightage. If you do an honors degree, the only benefit is that you will learn an additional subject.

Eligibility for KAS.
AGE LIMIT :
Every candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and not attained the age of 35 years as on the last date specified for receipt of the application or on such other date as may be specified by the Government.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and category I candidates.
