According to me, if you are an arts student then go for BA and if you are a commerce student then go for B.Com. Apart from this there are lots of options like BBA, BCA and different vocational course.

B.Com is much better than BBA because after B.Com you can opt different lines like banking preparation, insurance accountant, etc. But, after BBA only one thing is left and that's MBA. By the way, you can do MBA after B.Com also.

To clarify, at US and Canadian universities, there is no course called M.Com degree. Most of the degrees are MS (Masters of science) with business specializations. So you will find a lot of colleges offering courses like MS in Management. The other PG degree in business is MBA. So please mention which of these two options are you looking for.

Economics is an excellent field if you are interested in economics and want to make career as an economist. However, MA in economics is a niche degree with comparatively lesser scope in comparison to PGDM or MBA.
