According to Amity university admission guidelines you should have 50% in graduation to apply in MBA programme whether you have good GMAT/CAT/MAT score or not.
If you can provide me your short introduction than I would try to suggest you some other courses.

The two options that you have mentioned are completely different. Opt for something that you are interested in. The above are not career but are courses that will build your career in the field you are interested in. If you want to become an engineer you should opt for B.E. but if you think you want to pursue management and become a business manager, then go for BBA.

There are multiple courses you can pursue after B.Com. You can go for a M.Com or prepare for MBA entrance exams.

It's better to go with BBA or BBM if he is interested in management courses. If he is interested in teaching, then it is better to go with B.Com.
