Candidates are selected for BCom at VIT Andhra Pradesh based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. After completion of the selection rounds, the institute releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. Candidates with the below mentioned qualification are eligible for the BCom course at VIT Andhra Pradesh Amaravati:
- Class 12 board examination from a recognised board of education, such as CBSE, ICSE, State Education Boards or equivalent boards.
- Candidates must have studies Mathematics subjects along with Economic and Commerce (MEC) or Business Studies in the qualifying exam with at least 55% aggregate.

Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University does offer scholarsips to its BCom course especially to the students with an excellent academic records. Some of the VIT Andhra Pradesh scholarships offered are as follows:
GV Merit Scholarship - Any board topper across the country will get a 100% scholarship for all the years of the UG degree
Tmt.Rajeswari Ammal Merit Scholarship - Any district topper across the country will get 50% scholarship for all the years of the UG degree programme. If the district topper is a girl, she will get an additional 25% scholarship (making it 75% scholarship)
