Panjab University admits to BCom through merit in the qualifying examination (Class 12th) to applicants of General Category.
At Panjab University, the minimum eligibility to admit to BCom includes a pass in 12 th with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Class 12 th.
Nevertheless, admission can cut off on different years depending on the rate of applicants and availability of seats.

Yes, you can but B.Com should be your priority and apply for CAT as well. Basically, there are 3 sections in CAT exam - verbal ability, DILR Quants. Verbal ability- Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power.

If you are taking drop remember this your precious 1 Year would be wasted. You have to keep in mind the approach towards CAT should to aiming top 20 B-schools. For that you have to work extremely hard. Your one year drop should be effective utilization of the time to crack. If you think you can do it take a drop. If you can't then continue with regular work.

I don't think so. It is not a good idea of pursuing UG course through distance mode. I suggest you to go for a regular BBA.
