After getting successfully registered for the course, students must have provide required documents to college for verification purpose. These are the documents, that students required for admission to BA at BVDU School of Distance Education:
- Original copies of Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and one photocopy of each marksheet attested by the Director of the Learner Support Centre
- Original copy of marksheet of last qualifying examination for verification and one photocopy of each marksheet attested by the Director of the Learner Support Centre

For admission to BCom courses at Spoorthy Degree and Post Graduate College, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course are merit-based and candidates must pass Class 12 with a 50% aggregate and CEC/MEC/MPC/BiPC as optional subjects. Candidates who have not completed Class 12 are not eligible for admission.

For admission in a BCom programme at Sphoorthy Degree and Post Graduate College, it is crucial that the aspirant fulfills the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the asiprants who have completed Class 12 with a 50% aggregate and CEC/MEC/MPC/BiPC as optional subjectsare eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. Candidate must also hold the Class 12 mark sheet during application form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.
