Some universities may consider Applied Mathematics as equivalent to Standard Mathematics for the purpose of admission to the B.Com Honours programme, while others may require candidates to have studied Standard Mathematics specifically. Therefore, it is important to check the admission requirements of the specific university or institution where you are applying for the B.Com Honours programme to determine whether Applied Mathematics is accepted as equivalent to Standard Mathematics or not.
