The University has released the combined placement data for BSc and BTech courses. As per the NIRF report 2023, out of 901 BSc/ BTech graduates, 160 were placed during 2022 placements. Earlier, 148 out of 891 students were placed during the 2021 drive. Tabulated below is the total strength and number of students placed during ANGRAU placements for BSc/ BTech:

Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University has a seat intake of 60 for the Diploma offered in Agricultural Engineering at two constituent polytechnics. The university also offers the course at 17 affiliated polytechnics with a seat intake of 30 each (total 510 seats at affiliated colleges). Candidates applying for MTech shall have a BE/BTech degree in the relevant specialisation. Further, the university shortlists students based on the score secured in the ICAR AIEEA exam. Hence, aspirants must a valid score of the accepted entrance test to become eligible for admission. Further, based on seat intake and students' exam scores, the seat allotment is carried out.
