Yes, you can get into the LLB programme offered at Ajeenkya DY Patil University without appearing for the CLAT exam. The university accepts students on the basis of their entrance exam (ACET for Law) conducted by the university. Those who clear then entrance exam are then called for personal interview for final shortlisting. Hence, there is no need to appear for the CLAT exam. Yes, Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) does reserve seats for certain categories. The reservation policy is valid only for domiciles of Maharashtra. Students who are either from or outside Maharashtra belonging to SC/ ST/ DTNT/ OBC must submit the caste and validity certificate to avail of the reservations. The certificate must not be older than six months from the date of submission.
