Well, this is a difficult question to answer in every aspect, of course, you get a lot of opportunities in government and private sector but it isn't enough. I guess nothing is enough and that shouldn't stop you from taking up this course or profession if you are passionate about it and things involved interests you.
Talking about what all can you do after Aeronautical Engineering?
1) Maintenance of Aircraft- You can work as an Aeronautical Maintenance Engineer where you will test new aerodynamic and aviation systems and maintain them.
2) Aircraft Designer - You can get involved in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft

Firstly congratulations for having a dream. Now you can work on achieving this dream. It would be best if you can get admission in IIT M or IISc, Bangalore. For this you have to pass 12th with at least 75% and then prepare for JEE Mains and Advanced. Remember, nothing is impossible.

All government & private aviation organizations and aircraft & spacecraft manufacturing and testing units generally require the trained candidates.
The career in aeronautical engineering is very reputed, respectfully and challenging and moreover, it is very good in order to the handsome paying job.

There are many advantages if you are studying in your home country like you don't have to worry much about accommodation and finance. Also, we have world class institutions in India for aeronautical. The only concern is research labs, facilities, infrastructure which lags in comparison to foreign universities. Also, we have a very theoretical approach to studies. These things forms the crust of any student's life and your career will be built on the platform you are given. I hope you got the point. You have to narrow down your college choices on such parameters.
