On admission to undergraduate courses in the department of aeronautical engineering, it is obligatory that an individual should take Physics and Mathematics in 10+2 studies and at most instances combined with Chemistry as part of PCM requirements and minimum aggregate requirements as specified by the institution/exam.

Not at all. You do not need any prior flying experience to go for a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. The field is about the design and development aspect of aircraft and other flight-worthy vehicles and not the flying aspect per se. Pilot Training courses cover that part in depth. For Aeronautical Engineering courses, a passion for aviation in general and mechanics can be advantageous.

There are various good colleges that offers B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering in Karnataka the list of college includes
Manipal Institute of Technology MIT which recorded 100% placement rate with the highest package offered in 2025 is INR 57lpa whereas the average package offered was INR 11-15 lpa.
Visvesvaraya Technology University VTU which has very good placements, the highest package offered was INR 28lpa and the average package offered was INR 6-8 lpa.
