She told me that recently 3 students from aerospace engineering won gold at the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC), 2021. IAAC is one of the world's the largest astronomy competitions. LPU has set an ambitious goal of developing a satellite LPUSAT-1. One of the Aerospace Engineering 2nd year students at Lovely Professional University, Riddhi Malhotra has been honoured with the Hall of Fame award. Hi Sanjay, the course for Aerospace Engineering has been designed for learners who intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings. The course equips a student to be able to effectively build and communicate the solutions crafted using learnings from basic aerospace engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. Dear Vethika, Being an alumnus of LPU, I can tell you about the B.Tech in Aerospace engineering eligibility criteria. My cousin sister is also studying in the same programme. To the best of my knowledge, you should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with mandatory subjects English . Maths and Physics. In addition to it, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam or you should have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE Mains exam. Aerospace engineering at LPU is really a good programme to pursue. My cousin sister is pursuing B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering at LPU. She is in her final year now. She shared a few things about Aerospace engineering with me as follows:
1) The placements are good for this programme. The highest and average package for this programme is 31 LPA and 4.8 LPA.
