OUAT 2025 Application Form B is now available for undergraduate admission to OUAT,  as well as for Agro-polytechnic students who have passed out in 2025-26. The OUAT 2025 Form B is out on the official website for undergraduate admission to OUAT 2025. Along with all the selected UG candidates, the form is also available for Agro-Polytechnic students who have graduated during the 2025-26 academic session and are pursuing admission through Agro-Polytechnic UG Admission. 

Yes, it is possible to get a seat in a government agricultural university.Generally, you need to have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects, with a minimum aggregate score (usually 50%). Many universities require you to qualify in national-level or state-level entrance exams like ICAR AIEEA, CUET, or state-specific exams such as KEAM, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, or MP PAT. 

ICAR CUET UG scores are compulsory for admission to BTech courses at Central Agricultural University. However, all seven North Eastern States under the jurisdiction of CAU (Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya,  Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura) are allowed to get admitted to CAU Imphal.
Candidates can approach the respective state departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry for state Nomination.

The latest cut off information of B.Sc (Hons) in agriculture at SKUAST is not available publicly. The minimum eligibility criteria is that a student have to get 50% marks in class 12 in physics, chemistry, and biology. 

After completing a BSc in Agriculture course from Central Agricultural University, candidates have various career opportunities in both the government and private sectors. The names of some of the government and private career opportunities after completion of the course are as follows:

• Krishi Bhavan roles
• Agricultural Development Officer (ADO) 
• Field Officer/ Block Technology Manager (BTM)
• Roles in research farms and Krishi Vigyan Kendras
• Agri-input companies
• Food processing units
• Agri-tech startups
• Seed production and nurseries, etc.

The latest cutoff for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture at Visva-Bharati University through CUET UG is around 180–185 percentile for the General category in Round 1. Cutoffs may vary slightly each year based on the number of applicants, seat availability, and CUET score trends.

In case of B.Sc (Ag) in Mysore (without KCET ranking), what you need to do is to secure yourself a seat directly via management quota at the private colleges teaching agriculture. The major selection process of colleges with the Government mainly done through KCET. Management qualification seats may cost anywhere between INR 1.65 Lakhs and INR 2.5 Lakhs annually, which will amount to INR 6.6 Lakhs to INR 10 Lakhs over the entire four year duration.

M.Sc. in Agriculture at SKUAST (Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology) is mainly done through the ICAR AIEEA PG examination, or the University Entrance Test (UET)/SKUCET. Although the accurate cut offs of the recent year (2025) are yet to be announced, in the past years it can be broadly estimated that a score range of 60-75 can lead to ICAR AIEEA PG. Bachelor degree holders speeding in fields related to agriculture with minimum of 60 percent marks (55 percent marks for reserved category) are required. The selection criterion includes entrance exam based score and counseling.
