Hello,
So, if you are talking about B.Sc agriculture hons., then it has a large scope as very less people are in this field do you definitely have chances to shine but not B.Tech agriculture engineering as mechanical engineering is big branch and B.Tech agriculture engineering is a sub branch so less scope.

For admission in to Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as (biology, maths and chemistry). The duration for this course is 3 years.

University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad Fee Structure and List of Courses Summary
In B.Sc, it is a 4 year course. Its fees is INR. 14,400. Hope this helps.

Yes, you can do MBA in Agribusinesses management after complete the B.Voc in Agriculture. But, you need a good score in B.Voc in Agriculture. Apart from this, you need to qualify cat with a very good percentile to get admission in IIMA.

No, it is not possible without giving the admission test. Admission to the course is mostly entrance exam based. KEAM EAMCET are a few entrance exams conducted for admission to the course. There are 42 State Agricultural Universities (SAUs), 1 Central Agricultural University (CAU), 5 Deemed Universities (DUs) and 4 general Central Universities with Agriculture faculty in India. These institutions provide admission at UG level in 11 disciplines and about 15,000 students get enrolled every year.

Hi Ankita,
Subject selection should be as per your interest. Don't get confused. You will get a lot of opportunities in government or private jobs just after completing your graduation. Many of my friends have chosen B.Sc Agriculture as the opportunity is high there and competition (crowd) is low. So, people easily get government jobs in the agricultural department. So, you can choose it. Best of luck.

I could hardly find any government college or university for B.Sc. (H) agriculture but some good ones for you are-
The Indian Agricultural Research Institute, commonly known as the Pusa Institute - The Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute which is an institute under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
