There are about 7 Agriculture colleges in Pune that provide courses full time and in online mode of study and all colleges are owned by the Private sector. Learning about the practises and techniques used in farming and crop production is the focus of the agricultural course. Students can pursue a course in Agriculture at both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels. Given below are generic eligibility criteria for Agricultural courses offered at both levels. It may be noted that the eligibility criteria mentioned below might vary depending on the course and specialisation/branch chosen by a candidate.
UG level: Candidates should pass Class 12 in the Science stream with at least 45%-50% aggregate marks. (Check for Class 12 Physics NCERT Solutions)
PG level: Candidates should obtain a bachelor’s degree with at least 45%-50% aggregate marks.

Medical school and the textile sector are just a few of the industries where agriculture courses are useful. A candidate who has taken an agriculture course will be better prepared to get employment in the pharmaceuticals or apparel industries, which use raw materials other than synthetic ones. Orissa University of Agriculture And Technology as per the NIRF report 2023, a total of 137 UG (4-year) and 110 PG (2-year) students were placed during OUAT placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (4-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 3.09 LPA and INR 4.60 LPA during placements 2022
There is a placement but the average of placement of students is very low as per me.
