Aspirants who have completed Class 10 along with three-year Diploma with two-years of work experience are eligible to apply for IIMT Studies Ahmedabad PG Diploma programme. Aspirants can also apply if they fulfil any of the below-mentioned requirements:

• Class 12 along with 3 year graduation in any discipline with no experience required
• Class 12 with 3 years of relevant work experience related to the stream of course

Along with the above criteria, aspirants must also have proficiency in computer skills- MS Office, Internet Operations and Studies on Virtual Platforms and fluency in English equivalent to a minimum of IELTS band 4.

Yes, the candidates pursuing MDes from UID have to complete an industry internship in the last year of the course. This internship is included in the course curriculum to ensure that candidates gain field experience. Apart from this, a project also has to be submitted to the institute. 

The admission process is ongoing at UID Ahmedabad for the MDes course. It generally begins with the release of UID DAT exam registrations. The UID DAT 2025 exam is scheduled on Jan 25. Further, the shortlisted candidates will have to take part in other selection rounds. The situation test and portfolio evaluation will be carried out from Mar 27 to Apr 10.
