UID Ahmedabad offers a four-year BDes programme with nine specializations, including BDes (Hons) and BDes (Global Design Programme). Admission is through UID DAT, a two-tier process involving the entrance exam, Situation Test, and Portfolio evaluation. Passed Class 12 or a three-year Diploma with a minimum 50% aggregate are eligible. So, National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad for M.Des  is better than NID, Bangaluru .
