The application fee for the AIIMS nursing 2025 exam for the MSc programme is INR 1,500 for the general and OBC category and INR 1,200 for SC/ST category candidates. The application fee can be paid online.

The chances are less that the AIIMS MSc Nursing application gets rejected. The application process is simple and the conducting body even issues the status of the application forms with the comments regarding the missing prerequisites. If candidates pay timely attention to the details and notifications released by the AIIMS, chances are rare that the candidate's application gets rejected. Also, candidates should ensure they submit the application fee before the stipulated deadline of submission.

The AIIMS MSc Nursing applicant must have cleared either the BSc Nursing or Post Basic Nursing programme from an Indian Nursing Council-accredited institute. He/she must have scored 55 per cent in aggregate. A minimum of one year of experience is mandatory for applying to the course. It must be in a Public Health Nursing or in Nursing Educational Institutions. Registration as a registered nurse and registered midwife (RNRM) is a mandatory eligibility criterion.

AIIMS has established a tie-breaker criteria to assess the performance of candidates scoring same marks in AIIMS nursing exam. Some of the criteria are:

  • The candidates having higher marks in Chemistry in the entrance will be given priority if the tie persists
  • The candidate who has secured higher marks in Physics in the entrance will be given priority if the tie still exists
  • At last, priority will be given to the candidate who is senior in age
