AIIMS Nursing

The NTA administers the NEET entrance test, which is required for admission to programmes including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, etc. Of course, passing the NEET entrance exam is not what you need if you want to be admitted to AIIMS Nursing. You must pass the AIIMS B.Sc. entrance test in order to be considered for admission to the B.Sc. Nursing programme. The college you are accepted to will depend on how well you perform on the test. Nursing programmes offered by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, including BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc Nursing (Post-Basic). The duration of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Post-Basic) degree is two years, whereas the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Hons) study lasts four years.

The official exam conducting and organising organisation for the BSc nursing test, AIIMS Delhi, has released the date of the exam. Applications will be accepted via bsccourses.aiimsexams.ac.in, the official website, starting in February 2024. The exam registration process is coordinated and handled online. The online AIIMS BSc (post basic) test will be held on June 22, 2024, and the AIIMS BSc nursing (Hons.) exam on June 8, 2024. The registration form will only be accessible online; offline options will not be offered there. The AIIMS BSc nursing application fee must be paid online through the admissions portal by candidates. The exam board, AIIMS Delhi, will make the admission card available online.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for AIIMS Nursing 2024 BSc Nursing Course.

For B.Sc: Those candidates who are interested in pursuing Nursing course from AIIMS must fulfil the eigibility criteria that is passed 12 exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and have at least 55% overall; candidates from the SC/ST category should have at least 50% aggregate.

For B.Sc. (Post basic) nursing, candidates possessing a Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council recognised institution. However, candidates who have qualified for class 11 on or before 1986 can also apply. Candidates must have registered themselves as nurses or midwives with the State Nursing Council. In the case of male nurses, besides being registered nurses, they should have six months of training.

For B.Sc. Paramedical: Candidates should have passed the class or an equivalent exam from a recognised board/university with Physics, Chemistry, English, and biology or Math subjects. Candidates from the General/EWS/OBC category should have secured a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate in class 12, and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 45 percent in aggregate.
