The vision required to become a cabin crew is 6/6. They accept 6/9 in the weaker eye. If you use specs to keep the vision 6/6, then that is acceptable. The use of contact lens is usually not recommended. I would personally prefer using specs over lenses. Medical standards also differ from airline to airline. So you should verify the standards before application. Some allow use of lens to a certain limit.

You may get an institute with less fee but they might not have a high placement record so it's pointless to join such institutes.

Anyone with relevant skills and knowledge can apply for this course. After completing class 12th, just take admission in some air hostess training institute, it's a 11-12 month training which leaves you at the interviews for placement.
Some of the leading institutes are Frankfinn, Flying Cats, Wings Air Hostess and Hospitality Training, and PTC Aviation Academy.
