Aircraft maintenance engineer is a 3 years course leading to a degree of B.Sc. After the completion of the course, students are enabled to obtain license from DGCA. After the license is obtained the student can seek the job in any of the civil Airlines operating aircraft which carry passengers or cargo. Presently in India, both the passenger as well as the cargo Air Traffic is increasing at an annual rate of about 15%. Hence, the students who pass out get absorbed in many of the airlines since all of them are buying more and more aircraft which require more and more trained and licensed personnel.
