Mandatory Subjects : Mathematics, Physics
Candidates with Diploma certified recognized by AICTE or any certificate acceptable to DGCA as equivalent Diploma in mechanical/electrical/ electronics engineering with minimum 50% aggregate or higher degree in science (B.Sc/M.Sc) are also eligible to apply.
Other eligibility criteria:
Candidates must submit a medical certificate from an MBBS doctor.

The eligibility for seeking admission in aircraft maintenance engineering course is 10 + 2 in physics chemistry and math. As you had done your Diploma after plus two stages you are definitely eligible for this and yes wearing spectacles or glasses does not debar you from taking admission and even subsequently working on the aircraft as a maintenance engineer. You need to have passed 10+2 from any recognized board. There is no percentage prescribed by the college for admission to this course, but try to score 50% and above.

Eligibility and Duration: Students of any Nationality may be admitted for the A.M.E. course. The minimum Educational qualification is as below:
Educational qualification required :- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths
Apart from any of the student shall be subjected to a Medical Examination before they are admitted to the Institute, by a Doctor (To be attested & certified by Registered Medical Practitioner holding at a least MBBS degree) & applicant age at the time of admission should not be less than 17 years.
