Those seeking to apply for any of the UG, PG and Diploma courses offered at AKU must fulfil the specified eligibility set by the university. For applying to the undergraduate programmes, students are required to pass Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45%-50% (depending on the course). The eligibility for the postgraduate programmes requires the students to clear Graduation with a minimum aggregate of 45%-55% (depending on the course). There is a dedicated placement cell at AKU and a good number of students get placed. Depending on the institution the plcaement varies from 50% - 75% which is a good placement rate. The highest package has gone upto 17 LPA whereas the average package ranges from 3 LPA - 5.5 LPA. Companies like HCL and TCS also come for placements which also does mass recruitments to an extent and offer good packages.

AKU accepts various entrance exams for admission, including its own AKU Entrance Test, as well as popular exams like NEET, BCECE, XAT, IIFT MBA (IB), CMAT, MAT, GMAT, and GRE. These exams are used to evaluate the children to get admission in the same. So depending on the course, you'll be able to decide whether you can get in without CAT or not.
