The eligibility criteria for admission to all the undergraduate and postgraduate programme is different at Alagappa University. As per the basic eligibility criteria for admission to UG programmes, the candidates must have qualified class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum of fifty percent aggregate.
While for admission to PG programmes candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of fifty percent aggregate in the relevant discipline.

For MBA programme admissions, candidates are required to qualify for MAT /CAT /XAT /ATMA /CMAT /TANCET with a valid score. Alagappa University admission is followed by the shortlisting of candidates by the counseling body.
Further, Alagappa University shortlists the candidates based on these entrance exam scores and cutoff and invites them to appear for group discussions and personal interviews.

To check the merit list, candidates need to go to the official website of Alagappa University and clicking on the 'Notification' tab and select their chosen course. This will open a link to download the merit list for the chosen course. The merit list is available in PDF form which then can be opened to check the contents within.

The last date to apply at Alagappa University Admission 2024 for entrance-based and non-entrance-based courses is usually in May. Currently, the applications are open for admission 2024. Candidates can apply for B.Ed and MCA till May 20, 2024. For MBA and MCA, the applications are open till May 27, 2024.
