Aligarh Muslim University Eligibility

A candidate must clear the AMU B.Ed Admissions Common Entrance Test conducted by the Aligarh Muslim University every year to get admission into this university. The eligibility criteria is candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree in B.Sc./ B.A./ B.Com with at least 50% marks from a recognised College/ Institute/ University. The entrance exam for B.Ed is for 100 marks and syllabus is as like below 

• General English -  25 marks
• Reasoning - 25 marks 
• Teaching Aptitude -  25 marks
• Current Educational Affairs -  25 marks

Aligarh Muslim University offer Certificate in Beauty Culture II (Hair Care). The duration of this certification course is 3 months and the average tuition fee is INR 800. Candidates can get admission to this course on the basis of their Class 12 or 10 scores. However, it is important to fill the application form timely and take all the necessary steps required in the admission process.

For Aligarh Muslim University B.P.Ed admission, candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% and have at least participation in the InterCollege/Inter-Zonal / District / School competition in sports and games as recognised by the AIU/ IOA / SGFI / Govt. of India. Students with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with 45% marks or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as a compulsory elective subject are also eligible for AMU B.P.Ed admission. 

Aligarh Muslim University offers an MBA (General), MBA in Hospital Administration, MBA in Islamic Banking & Finance and MBA in International Business at the postgraduate level for a duration of two years each. AMU admission to all these courses is completely entrance-based and depends' on candidates' performance in CAT or an online written test, conducted by the University. Candidates seeking admission to any of the above-mentioned AMU MBA courses must have passed graduation in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
