Aligarh Muslim University Eligibility

Candidates appearing for the AMU BA LLB entrance exam 2026 must not be more than 22 years old as of July 1, 2026. The maximum age limit is strictly enforced, with some sources indicating up to 24 years, but 22 is the primary, recent, and most consistently reported requirement.

To be eligible for the AMU BA LLB entrance exam in 2026, candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. The maximum age limit is 22 years as of July 1st of the admission year.

The AMU BA LLB Entrance Exam education qualification eligibility criteria that candidates have to meet are given below.

• The candidate should have passed the 10+2 from a valid board of education.

For Stenography, you don't need to clear any competitive exam. Its a simple training course in AMU for which you can enroll by paying the certification fee. You must be class 10th passed from any recognised board of education in India to enroll in this course.

The Aligarh Muslim University BA LLB Entrance Exam center allocation will be done during the application process. Candidates select their preferred exam cities while filling out the application form. However, if a chosen center reaches its capacity, AMU may allocate 2nd or 3rd preference.

AMU offers MSc as a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. To be eligible to pursue MSc at AMU, candidates must have scored at least 55% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree is not eligible to apply for the programme. Such candidates can pursue MSc at some other college or university. AMU MA is a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. Candidates who have scored at least 50% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to pursue MA at the university. A candidate must clear the AMU B.Ed Admissions Common Entrance Test conducted by the Aligarh Muslim University every year to get admission into this university. The eligibility criteria is candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree in B.Sc./ B.A./ B.Com with at least 50% marks from a recognised College/ Institute/ University. The entrance exam for B.Ed is for 100 marks and syllabus is as like below

• Teaching Aptitude -  25 marks
• Current Educational Affairs -  25 marks
