No, students can get direct admission at Alliance University. The university accepts admission based on merit and entrance exams. The university offers admission to an MBA programme based on the Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT) followed by a personal interview. Students holding a valid score in any National or state-level exams such as CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ NMAT can also get into the Alliance University. Alliance University Application Process 2026

The mode of application is online for all courses. Candidates need to pay an application fee to apply for admission. The application fee for MBA is INR 1,000.

Selection Rounds

Candidates need to qualify MAT, CAT, ALLIANCE-MAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, KMAT score, Oral Extempore Speech followed by PI for MBA course. 

Merit List & Counselling

As per the performance of the candidates in the selection rounds, a merit list is released by the school. Candidates with their names in the merit list are required to appear for the counselling round. They need to pay the fee to confirm their admission.

Alliance University shortlist candidates for BTech (LE) course based on AUSAT score. The shortlisted candidates are then called for a personal interview round. Apart from this, candidates also need to pass Diploma in any branch of Engineering or BSc degree with subjects such as Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering course along with the second year subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) to apply for BTech admission. Candidates who have passed DVoc in the same or allied sector are eligible to apply for BTech courses. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Alliance University admission to BBA course is based on Alliance Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test score. Alliance University Scholastic Aptitude Test or Alliance Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test is an online test. Candidates qualifying Alliance Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test are also eligible for scholarship. Scholarships of upto 50% of tuition fee for meritorious candidates on a first-come-first-serve basis. The shortlisted candidates are further called for personal interview round. The university also uses other parameters such as scholastic and extracurricular records for admission. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the overall performance in the Alliance Admission Selection Process.

Alliance University admission to EPGDM course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The university conducts a personal interview round to shortlist candidates for admission to EPGDM course. Additionally, candidates need to pass graduation or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate along with two-year of full-time work experience to apply for the Alliance School of Business, Alliance University EPGDM course. Candidates who have completed Diploma with at least five-year work experience can also apply. After completing selection rounds, candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat. The total fee for Alliance University EPGDM course is INR 2.50 lakh.
