No, students can get direct admission at Alliance University. The university accepts admission based on merit and entrance exams. The university offers admission to an MBA programme based on the Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT) followed by a personal interview. Students holding a valid score in any National or state-level exams such as CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ NMAT can also get into the Alliance University. In order to enroll for BTech course at Alliance University, candidates must complete Class 12 with 50% aggregate. However, the selection criteria for the course is entrance exam scores such as JEE (Main)/ JEE (Advanced)/Karnataka CET/COMED-K/Alliance AUEET or any other state-level engineering entrance examination + PI. Apart from this, Alliance College of Engineering and Design also considered other parameters such as scholastic and extracurricular record for PhD course admission. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the overall performance in the Alliance Admission selection process.

The Alliance University MBA placement details are yet to be released on the official website. However, the overall highest package offered during Alliance University placements 2023 stood at INR 60.10 LPA. Further, over 600 recruiters participated during Alliance Universit Bangalore placements in 2023 and presented over 6,000 job offers to the students. Alliance University shortlist candidates for BTech (LE) course based on AUSAT score. The shortlisted candidates are then called for a personal interview round.
