In order to enroll for BTech course at Alliance University, candidates must complete Class 12 with 50% aggregate. However, the selection criteria for the course is entrance exam scores such as JEE (Main)/ JEE (Advanced)/Karnataka CET/COMED-K/Alliance AUEET or any other state-level engineering entrance examination + PI. Apart from this, Alliance College of Engineering and Design also considered other parameters such as scholastic and extracurricular record for PhD course admission. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the overall performance in the Alliance Admission selection process.

However, the overall highest package offered during Alliance University placements 2023 stood at INR 60.10 LPA. Further, over 600 recruiters participated during Alliance Universit Bangalore placements in 2023 and presented over 6,000 job offers to the students. The top recruiters of Alliance School of Business placements in 2023 included Ashok Leyland, Volvo, Axis Bank, IBM, HCL, Deloitte, Capgemini, American Express, etc.

- AUSAT (Alliance University Scholastic Aptitude Test)
- Personal Interview
