Altera Institute Gurugram admission criteria is entrance-based. Candidates are admitted to the PGP course based on CAT/GMAT/XAT/NMAT scores. Candidates are required to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam to complete frisking formalities. 

Yes, after the first intial 12 months, students meeting attendance and assessment criteria are offered a 3-month internship with one of Altera's hiring partners. Outstanding performance during the internship may also lead to a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from the hiring company.

The college accepts various entrance exam scores such as CAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ NMAT  or equivalent examinations scores for admission to PGP in Applied marketing. Further, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to secure admission i.e. undergraduate degree with a score of 60% or equivalent from a recognised university/institute.

The ALNAT application form 2025 was released online on the official website. The ALNAT application form window closed on April 24, 2025. The exam was conducted on April 28, 2025. Candidates who wished to appear for the ALNAT exam had to fill the ALNAT application form online and pay the application fee to complete the ALNAT application process.
