Hi! Yes Amrita University is pure veg university, non veg is strictly banned on the campus of Amrita University.So please consider the fact that food plays an important role in development of students, if you are a puge vegeterian it's no problem, but if you area a non-veggie you might be facing some serious depression regarding the food.

Yes, Amrita Vidya Vishwapeetham offers an MBBA programme of four and a half academic years’ duration over which it is mandatory to go through one year of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI). MBBS course is offered at Amrita School of Medicine under the Kochi campus of Amrita Vidya Vishwapeetham and is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi.

In order to get into MBBS at Amrita Vidya Vishwapeetham, Kochi, students’ must meet the below eligibility criteria:
- Admission of candidates is based on the centralized online allotment list published in the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website
- NEET UG qualified candidates (both General and NRI category) who have been allotted to Amrita School of Medicine by the MCC, New Delhi are eligible to report for admission
- To be eligible for MBBS, General category students must have passed Class 12 with 50% aggregate

The students of MBA get multiple scholarship benefits in terms of tuition fee waivers. 10% of the class is offered such benefits. All these benefits are as follows:
- Up to 70% waiver is offered on tuition fee to top scorers of Amrita MBA Entrance Test or CAT
- 70% waiver is offered to those with a CAT percentile above 85
- 50% waiver for those with a CAT percentile above 75 to 85
Renewal of Scholarship for subsequent year is subject to meeting the following conditions:
- Consistent academic performance by securing a CGPA of at least 8 in the first year
