There are different ways to get admission in Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS). The following are the most common methods:
* * NEET UG:* AIMS offers MBBS courses which are affiliated to the Medical Council of India (MCI). Admission to these courses is through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET Undergraduate (UG). Candidates who have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 board exams in Science stream are eligible to apply for NEET UG. The NEET UG exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA twice a year. * * NEET PG:* AIMS also offers postgraduate medical courses such as MD and MS. Admission to these courses is through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET Postgraduate (PG). Candidates who have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their MBBS degree are eligible to apply for NEET PG. The NEET PG exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA once a year. * *Direct Admission:* AIMS also offers direct admission to MBBS and postgraduate medical courses. However, the seats for direct admission are limited and are only available to candidates who have scored very high marks in NEET UG or NEET PG. In addition to the above, AIMS also offers a number of scholarships to meritorious students. These scholarships are available to students who have scored a minimum of 60% marks in their 10+2 board exams in Science stream and have secured a rank in the top 10% of the NEET UG or NEET PG exam. To apply for admission in AIMS, candidates can visit the official website of the institute and fill out the application form. The application form is usually available online from January to March of each year. Along with the application form, candidates are also required to submit the following documents:

The application fee for NEET UG and NEET PG is INR 1500 and INR 2500 respectively. The application fee for direct admission is INR 5000.
