As majority of people know that in Amrita, it is purely veterinarian food that is supplied everywhere in the campuses. Consider having non-veg food in Amrita University as illegal, as it is prohibited. But the food over here is veggies that anyone can adjust within the limit. Morning breakfast will be idli sambar, dosa sambar, pongal, read utter and jam, green peas curry and much combos like that. Lunch will be pricey, dal curry, sambar, pappad, with so many other side dishes to have. The dinner will be chappathi and there'll be a price and curry, and then salad. Tea and milk will be provided in between, but there is no coffee in Amritapuri Campus as every other Amrita Campuses provide the same, in my knowledge. The taste of curries that they provide will be the same in everyday with any change. But it's okay for a normal student to adjust with.

First of all, you should familarize with the college campus and the atmosphere over there. Then the next thing you can, is to connect and mingle with seniors and before all, the teachers and faculties. There will be an orientation programme for atleast a week after the beginning of the course where they won't teach anything, but we can utilise that time for familarising with everyone and everything over the campus. It is so crucial to take care of ourselves as a college life can be demanding. We can have nutritious food, exercise daily and also have a sufficient sleep. Don't forget to keep track of the assignments, works, homework, and other activities given to be done. And at last, enjoy the experience as college life is a time of growth, to make good friends, and to create memories that might last for a life time.

Following a predetermined process is usually required for admission to Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham - Amritapuri Campus. Direct admission might be an option in some circumstances, but it's crucial to remember that the specific requirements and processes for admission are subject to change. You must receive a minimum of 60% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and 55% in each of these subjects, to be admitted to Amritapuri. For all fields other than computerScienceengineering, which has a total of 30% of the seats at Amrita allocated for JEE, the percentage fluctuates depending on the number of applicants and the total number of seats available for that particular programme. If you are upto the management quota, It's as hard as to get admission through management (most of the seats fill quckily) while comparing with entrance exams, I'm not sure though.
