Hi, Here is list of colleges in Coimbatore whose fees is approximately 50K per annum :
1. Christ The King Engineering College.
2. Government College Of Technology, Coimbatore.
3. Coimbatore Institute Of Technology. Below is list of colleges having fees approximately 75K per annum:

To take admission at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for B.Sc. In Operation Theatre Technology you first have to clear the Amrita Entrance Examination. Selection for the candidates will be based on the rank obtained in the Amrita Entrance Examination. Allotment of seats for the shortlisted candidate will be based on the performance in the counseling/interview. Out of the total seats for all specialities, 50% seats will be alloted to the merit category and 50% to the management category including NRI I. e. 15% of seats.

You can try the main campus and Amrita School of Engineering (Bangalore Campus). With this you can try for any branch in Bangalore campus and branches like chemical engineering in main campus.

In BANGALORE you will get EEE and EIE. If luck is on your side you may also get mechanical but chances are low. In AMRITAPURI you will get MECHANICAL and EEE. In Coimbatore you will get chemical engineering and some other branches (except CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, mechanical)
In Coimbatore you may get civil engineering also. My personal advice is join choose engineering branch that you want rather than choosing campus ( because three campuses have their own pros and cons)
