Aligarh Muslim University has not mentioned section wise weightage in AMUEEE. However, candidates will have to attempt 100 questions in the exam from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Yes, for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. One mark is awarded for every correct answer.

AMUEEE exam will consist of one paper. However, it will be divided into three sections - Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for BTech admissions.

Aligarh University has announced that AMUEEE 2026 exam will be held as an annual exam on April 19. There is no provision for conducting in twice in a year.

As per previous years' analysis, AMUEEE can be considered to be of moderate difficulty. Students who are prepared for board exams will be able to attempt AMUEEE.  

AMUEEE Diploma in Engineering paper will consist of four subjects. The Science (Physics, Chemistry and Life Science) section will consist of 50 questions while Mathematics will have 30 questions in the paper. General Knowledge and Indo-Islamic Culture will consist of 10 questions each. A total of 100 questions have to be attempted by the candidates in the entrance exam. 

The total number of questions for AMUEEE BE Evening course is 100. Out of the total number of questions, 25 questions will be from Physical Sciences while 75 questions will be from the Relevant Engineering Sciences. It is also to be noted that those candidates having professional experience of Government/ Semi-Government/ Public Sector Undertakings of India after passing Diploma in Engineering will be additionally awarded 2.5 marks for each year of professional experience subject to a maximum of 25 marks.

According to exam pattern, AMUEEE question paper will have objective questions. For each question, there will be four options. Candidates will have to select correct answer from given options.
