Attained the commendable 12th position with an AAA grade among the Top Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh, as per the rankings by Careers 360. Additionally, secured the 92nd spot among India's Best Private T-Schools in the 2020 rankings by Dataquest and clinched the 54th position among India's Best Private Engineering Colleges in the 2020 rankings by India Today.

Further recognition was achieved with a ranking in the 201-250 band among the Top Engineering Colleges by NIRF 2020, a prestigious accolade bestowed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

SVCE, Tirupati offers a wide range of top courses such as B.E / B.Tech, MCA, MBA/PGDM,    M.E / M.Tech . In the said courses the highest tution fees is for the B.Tech programme which is consisting of 10 courses with 2.3 L, and followed by MCA which has 2 courses with fees of 1.2L  and M.E / M.Tech course with  2 courses have a tution fee of 1.3 L .  The college  also provides  B.Tech specializations in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, M.E./M.Tech specializations in Computer Science Engineering, VLSI Design.

The college has a robust placement and job opportunity ecosystem, facilitated by a dedicated Placement and Training Center. 

The placement cell  recently achieved a remarkable success of placements 2100+ in the year 2022. The companies are very much pleased with the skill and knowledge of the students, they also quoted praiseworthy statements about the college management and staff for shaping the students minds. Companies such as wipro, cognizant, TCS, accenture, capgemini are the leading ones recruiting them. The highest salary offered was 7.5 LPA and the average salary is between 4.5 - 5 LPA .

Most of the students who got placed has the salary package in between 3.0 - 7.0 lpa, even if the pay scale is small, the number of students selected is higher.

According to Shiksha.com, Shri Krishna University has placed almost 90% of its students in 2023. The university's placement drives attract some of the top companies in the country. 

According to a review on Shiksha.com, 95–99% of students in a particular course were placed, with the highest package offered at 2 LPA and the lowest at 0.8 LPA. The review also mentions that companies like Facebook, Infosys, Paytm, and Dell recruit from the course. 

In 2022, 60 recruiters participated in the placement drive at Shri Krishna University. The highest CTC and average CTC bagged by the students were INR 17 LPA and INR 5.50 LPA respectively. 

University College of Engineering, Kakinada (UCEK) is one of the oldest constituent colleges under JNTU Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
