No, there is no negative marking in Andhra Pradesh 10th exams. The board will not deduct any marks for incorrect answers in the Andhra Pradesh SSC exams. The BSEAP 10th exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode. The question paper will have MCQs, short answer questions, long answer questions, fill in the blanks, etc. Students have to know the pattern of the exam and prepare accordingly.

Students should refer to the books prescribed by the BSEAP Board to cover the entire Andhra Pradesh SSC syllabus 2026. Yes, students can pursue higher studies in another state after passing the Andhra Pradesh SSC exam. They can pursue higher studies or senior secondary studies from a different Board within AP. BSEAP 10th Certificate is valid for any senior secondary studies in India. Students have to apply for a migration Certificate if they wish to study in another state. While applying for admission, the students must submit their Migration Certificate issued by the BSEAP along with the other requisite documents.

Each subject, including first and second languages, English, Mathematics, OSSC Main Language Paper I and II and social studies, is evaluated for a total of 100 marks. Physical Science and Biological Science is evaluated for a total of 50 marks. 

JNTU, Anantapur placement rate has not been published, but in 2024, 510 students were placed out of 998 students in BTech. While 68 students out of 134 secured placements in MTech.
