For study, you can visit some of best institution like Arena Animation or NIIT, MAYA. You can get job with your study but it is very difficult to get job from your first semester in your field I. e. Animation because you need to learn first then you can get some projects and internship or job too.

Stability totally depends on how much efforts you put in your job and how much keen are you in continuing with this job. There is a great scope as many big studios and companies like Walt Disney, Sony Pictures & Turner Entertainment which make animated films, TV ads & computer games, are off-shoring animation content to India. Many Indian animation studios & production houses are packed with work be it outsourced from abroad or in-house projects for the market in India. Hence, the Indian animation industry is certainly facing a talent crunch.

Skill. In production - how fast & with least corrections can the Animator complete his work. In case of pre-production - the quality of work as per script. The better the Animatics, the faster and better will be production & post-production. Good Pre-production artists, particularly story-board artists and Layout & BG (concept artists) artists are paid very high.

Please first understand which degrees are offered in Animation.
B.Sc Animation is a 3-years duration course.
Bachelor of Design (B. Des.) Course in Animation is a 4-years duration course. The four years course includes 2d, 3d, VFX, etc. The difference between the two degrees is that the B.Des. Course is not only 1 year more but offers usually an international syllabus, which is completely focused on Animation only.
Few of the top colleges are Artemisia College of Art & Design (government. University), MIT, Pune, NID, Ahmedabad (the top in the country), DSK, Pune, etc. While selecting a college, consider factors such as the fee, whether
