The eligibility criteria for Animation course do vary from college to college, but the basic eligibility criteria followed by them have been mentioned below:
- Candidates must have completed their class 10 and 12 from a recognised board

In Kerala, there are many 28 Animation colleges. Out of which, 14 colleges are owned by the Private sector, 4 colleges are owned by the Public sector and the rest 1 college is owned by the public private sector. The best animation colleges in Kerala are mentioned below:

Yes, candidates may enroll in short-term animation courses. Such courses might last anything from one month to a full year. Following are the Animation eligibility criteria that candidates can check to have a better idea.
- Aspirants who have cleared their Class 12 with passing marks in any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts) can pursue an Animation course at the graduation level.
- However, most popular colleges allow candidates to take part in their admission process only if they have completed their schooling from a recognised board.
- On the other hand, to pursue a PG level Animation course, candidates should clear graduation from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum percentage (usually 45% - 60%).
