It is great to know your interest. In my opinion, you have two option. First, is go and start doing a course related to animation, if it is possible for you. And second, is do your job and continue learning in animation on a certain point of time, if it is comfortable leave your job and start doing something in animation field. Best of luck.

If you have done B.Tech in CSE from recognized university, then you can crack placements very easily. Having Animation course somehow will become different field. So think wisely.
