According to the official Andhra Pradesh ECET exam pattern, the authorities will conduct the examination in English. All questions will be in English language and no other regional language will be used for the examination. Candidates are advised to prepare for the examination in English, since they will need to understand the questions. In case of any problems in the examination hall, the candidates can ask the invigilators for help.

Candidates will be able to check the details regarding the examination mode, duration, marking scheme, sections, types of questions and more through the Andhra Pradesh ECET exam pattern. Candidates are advised to check the exam pattern carefully before commencing their preparation process for Andhra Pradesh ECET. According to official authorities will consist of four sections - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Paper. Candidates can choose from following engineering courses including Civil/Electrical/ Mechanical/Electronics & Communication/ Computer/Chemical/Metallurgical /Mining/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Ceramic Technology/Bio-Technology. Examination syllabus will vary according to the course selected by the authorities.

There are four sections in the Andhra Pradesh ECET paper- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering paper. While the questions from Mathematics (50 questions), Physics (25 questions) and Chemistry (25 questions) will be common for all branches, the Engineering paper (25 questions) will be different for each course.

The Andhra Pradesh ECET exam pattern specifies the exam duration. Students have to attempt 200 questions in 3 hours. There is no specific time for every section.

Details on the revised Andhra Pradesh ECET syllabus will be available through the notification only. Until any announcement, candidates are advised to study Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and the selected engineering paper prescribed by Andhra Pradesh ECET authorities as per previous year's notification.

The AP ECET mock test will be released on the authority's website. To access the mock test candidates do not require any login details. The authority will announce the AP ECET mock test date through the official notification.

The authorities has released the official Andhra Pradesh ECET marking scheme online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET. As per the official marking scheme, one mark will be allotted to every correct response. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. It is to be noted that unattempted questions will not be negatively marked. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as they can to have a higher chance of securing their desired scores.

Yes. Andhra Pradesh ECET will be held as a computer-based test for all registered and eligible candidates. The authorities will conduct the entrance examination at various centres. During the exam, the candidates will have to attempt 200 objective multiple-choice questions. The question paper will be prepared based on the topics of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and the selected engineering paper. Out of the given options, the candidates will have to select the correct one.
