Scholarships are offered at Apollo Institute of Technology, Kanpur however there is no specific reference to a 100% scholarship that would cover all tuition costs. About 100 students are eligible for government scholarships each year through the central and state portals, mostly for those whose family income is less than Rs 1 Lacs yearly. However, complete waivers are not certain, even though these grants can cover a sizable amount of tuition. Usually eligibility requires a minimum of 60% in Class 12 (PCM). Since the institute does not provide institutional 100% scholarships students must apply directly through government channels.

The Apollo Institute of Technology Kanpur hostel mess serves vegetarian food in a clean, roomy dining area with a separate kitchen. According to reviews the food quality is mediocre, satisfying only the most basic nutritional requirements. With separate facilities for males and girls, the mess is run on a subsidized basis for hostel residents. Some pupils find the cuisine repetitious, despite its attempts at variety. There are other canteen alternatives for snacks and priced goods, but there haven't been any significant complaints about flavor or pleasure.
