The Apollo Institute of Technology Kanpur hostel mess serves vegetarian food in a clean, roomy dining area with a separate kitchen. According to reviews the food quality is mediocre, satisfying only the most basic nutritional requirements. With separate facilities for males and girls, the mess is run on a subsidized basis for hostel residents. Some pupils find the cuisine repetitious, despite its attempts at variety. There are other canteen alternatives for snacks and priced goods, but there haven't been any significant complaints about flavor or pleasure.
