Akshaya Institute of Technology offers a four-year BTech course for interested candidates. The admission process for the course is entrance based. AIT Tumkur does not accept JEE scores for admission to any of the courses. Candidates are required to appear for COMEDK or KCET to participate in the admission process for BTech at AIT.

Candidates are eligibile to get admission to Akshaya Institute of Technology with 60% in Class 12. The candidates who have achieved a minimum of 45% aggregate in their Class 12 exams from any recognised board can apply through the application form on the official website. Candidates are required to apply for the entrance exam seperately. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance tests.
