In this regard, the first step towards becoming a successful archaeologist is to obtain a graduate degree. This could be in any discipline. However, it is preferable to have a Bachelors degree in history, sociology, or anthropology for a better understanding of the concepts of archaeology.

Bsc Archaeology:
Archaeology is the science of studying human cultures through the recovery, analysis and documentation of material remains and environmental data, like architecture, artifacts, features, landscapes.
Bsc Oncology :
Oncology is a branch of medicine that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. In order to become a medical oncologist, one has to complete MD degree.

Archaeology is a perfect career for those people who derive self-satisfaction in discovering a part of history and culture long lost in the dust of time. It is a career that is very much in demand since archaeologists have to spend infinite hours and days camping and undertaking field work at laboratories and in excavation sites.
