Yes, you will be able to apply to IPU. But don't get stick to IPU. Only apply for other universities also where you can get better colleges than IPU.

NATA is the main examination via which you will be able to secure admission in a college of repute for a course in architecture. So, if you are looking for admission in an architectural course you should re appear for the NATA. However, there are other exams you can opt for, names of which I have mentioned below:
Entrance exams:
NATA
Full Name: National Aptitude test in Architecture.
JEE Mains Paper 2
Full Name: Joint Entrance Exam.
AMU B.Arch Exam
Full Name: AMU B.Arch entrance exam.
KCET for Architecture.

Actually, your percentage in 10+2 is low. For getting admission in SRM, you need to score more than 70 percentage and you have to clear the SRMJEE Exam. But, you scored good marks in JEE Mains paper. You can contact SRM admission department, they can explain you briefly about your condition.

NATA scores are used for admissions to different Government, government. Aided & unaided schools /colleges of Architecture, to provide common measure for comparing the qualifications of applicants, for admission in addition to their scholastic performance in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
