The career opportunities for architects are very high because of the boom in the construction and designing fields. They are demanded in various government and private organizations. You can work in the sectors of construction, urban planning, urban development corporations, public works departments

India is looking at building smart cities by 2040, to achieve that goal we need a lot of Architects, but we are out sourcing it since there is shortage of architects right now. An Architect has the following fields to choose from -

NATA exam conducted by Council of Architecture is accepted throughout India in most of the Architecture colleges.

Yes, Architecture is a really good course for females. There are many female architects who are have leading practices in India, I will try naming a few - Chitra Vishwanath, Revathi Kamath, Gita Balakrishnan, Tanya Khanna, Anika Mittal Dhawan, Gayathri Shetty, Azmi Wadia, Nithya Srinivas
