Hi,
Yes, as per the new amendment, the student should have PCM as subjects in class 12th with minimum 50%. Accordingly, you are not eligible. But, Council of Architecture is yet to clarify whether this rule is applicable for this year or from next year onwards.

None of the field is easy but if you are weak in maths, I would recommend you to go for civil engineering because architecture involves lot of mathematical calculations at almost every step.

Hi Yasmin,
Interest plays a major role in one's life, this goes with everyone. If you are not interested in something you will never be able to give your best.
Both the fields are good, make her opt for the branch that she loves the most and is most passionate about and she should analyse the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission.
She can also opt for psychometric test comprising of aptitude, personality and career interest to clear any sort of confusion.
