Government College of Arts, Chandigarh, is a public institution affiliated with Punjab University.
The College is located near the government museum and art gallery, Chandigarh. It offers a full-time undergraduate course, the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), and other postgraduate and diploma courses.
The eligibility criteria for the BFA course is as follows:
The minimum qualification for admission is a passing 10+2 examination or equivalent with a minimum of 40 percent marks.
Also, candidates need to obtain 40% aggregate marks in the aptitude tests (object drawing, composition, and general knowledge) conducted by the college to qualify for admission.
The registration process is done in online mode on the official website of the college, and the last date for submission of the application form for the aptitude test was July 1st.
A final merit list is prepared on the basis of aptitude and class 12th score to grant admission to college.
