No, direct admission is not valid at ASM IIBR. Admission to PG courses at the institute is entirely entrance-based. Candidates must qualify for any one entrance exam among CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT and GMAT. However, candidates must also qualify for GD and PI rounds for the final selection.

Candidates willing to apply for PGDM course at ASM IIBR must fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements as per the course they are applying for. To be eligible to apply for PGDM programme at AMS IIBR, candidates must pass graduation with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised board. Students from SC/ ST categories must obtain minimum of 45% aggregate in their final examination of graduation.

To get admission to PGDM course at ASM IIBR, candidates must go through a multi-level selection process. At first, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. For admission to PGDM course at ASM IIBR, the selection is entirely based on the score obtained in one among CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT entrance exams. However, a valid score in any other common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective state governments is also accepted.
