While filling out the application form, the candidates will have the provision to select their preferred Assam CEE exam cities. The candidates will be able to select three exam cities in the order of preference. Based on the submitted preferences and availability, the candidates will be allotted their Assam CEE exam centre. After the allotment, the authorities will not accept any requests for change in the Assam CEE exam centre.

As compared to the General category, the Reserved category is expected to have a lower admission cutoff. Similarly, the courses and colleges that have a higher demand among the students are likely to have a higher admission Assam CEE cutoff. Once the candidates are allotted and the fee is paid, the authorities will not entertain any requests to make the changes. Before confirming the admission, the candidates will be provided with enough time to make their decision. In case of any doubts, the candidates are advised to contact the authorities immediately.

Assam CEE counselling is held online for all eligible and qualified candidates. Based on the decided counselling dates, the candidates will have to register and fill out their choices. After the final date, no applications will be accepted. The authorities will not accept offline applications for the Assam CEE counselling. After allotment, the candidates will have to physically report to their institute for confirmation of admission. If the candidate fails to confirm their admission before the final date, then their allotment will be cancelled.

The authorities have not yet announced the date for the commencement of classes for the qualified Assam CEE candidates. After the counselling process is over, the candidates will be informed about the class commencement date. On the date of the commencement of classes, the candidates will have to report to the institute and attend the classes. Candidates are advised to stay updated with the authorities to know the date for the commencement of classes.

Assam CEE counselling will be conducted by the authorities of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam. Since  Assam Science & Technological University (ASTU) is only responsible for the application, examination and result process, DTE will be responsible for the counselling and seat allotment process. All details regarding the Assam CEE counselling will be prepared and released by the authorities of DTE Assam online.

Assam CEE 2025 counselling has started. The authorities have released the counselling schedule online. Candidates are advised to stay updated with the dates of Assam CEE 2025 counselling so that they do not miss out on any important events. Separate seat allotment results will be declared for the different counselling rounds. Assam CEE counselling is being held online.

For admissions through Assam CEE, the candidates will have to participate in the counselling process.
