Hi, for admission to B.Tech programme at Assam Don Bosco University, a minimum of 45% aggregate marks is reqired. A Diploma or a B.Sc. Degree from an AICTE approved University is also mandatory. At least 50% in the aggregate and 50% in the aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates should have appeared for JEE, any State Entrance test or the Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test (DBU-GET). One who had passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology examination with atleast 50% marks are accepted here. for admission of lateral entry, A minimum of 60% agrregate in dipoma degree in relevant subjects such as Agric

For an OBC candidate, the probable minimum marks to qualify for Assam CEE is 77 to 70. If the candidates are able to secure the minimum marks, then they will have higher chances of admission, however it will not be guarateed as many other factors are also considered for allotment. Candidates securing 77 marks who reported in the 1st counselling with PCM% in 12th Examination below 63.66% will also have a higher chance of admisison into their preferred college and course.

Hello,
According to the previous year's cut off, a candidate belonging to the SC category scored 546 marks and the college allotted was Guahawti Medical College, through the state quota.
So a safe score for your category would be 540+ marks, and chances are low, of you getting a government medical seat in Assam.
You can get the following colleges at this score-
- Sukh Sagar Medical College and Hospital
- Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences
- Subharti Medical College
- Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 46853 and closing rank was 107607.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 46853 and closing rank was 107607. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 47777 and 168488. Admission to BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering in Assam University, Silchar is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The cutoff trend for BTech at Assam University, Silchar has been decreasing in recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech. Under the general category for All India quota was 124518. In 2022, it decreased to 107607. Likewise, the cut-off ranks have changed from 169550 to 120691 for OBC, 252946 to 222239 for SC, 4298 to 4255 for ST, 184087 to 112089 for EWS, and 52296 to 1629 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. A similar cut-off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

For 2022, the cut-off was 107607 for General category candidates in the All India quota for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Assam University, Silchar. For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 168488 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
